Registering for a Connector Card
To get a card you will need R25 to get a new card. You can choose to register the card under your name, or create an anonymous card.
If you register your card, the R25 will get credited to your card as 25 bonus points. Anonymous users do not get this benefit.
Registration is compulsory when applying for a concession.Benefits of registration
The Connector Card functions like a normal bank card, meaning that you use a 4 digit PIN to verify your ownership.
If you misplace your card, anyone could use it unless it is a concession card. You would also forfeit the value loaded in the card
as there would be no way of verifying that you own the misplaced card.
If you register your card, you can report it stolen and apply for a replacement. The value that you had in your previous card will then be
transferred to your new one.
Parents registering Connector Cards for their children aren't compelled to come with them.
You can pre-register by filling in the registration form and signing it, then your child can come take a photo and get their Connector Card
for R25.
